ABOUT THE ARTIST: Born in 1988 in Seoul, Korea, Mosessa moved to Australia in the 90s. After working as a commercial artist and designer for 10 years, she is now pursuing a career as a painter.

Reflecting on her time as a child growing up in the Gold Coast hinterland, her work is influenced by nature. Inspired by a mixture of mythology, folklore, surrealism, art deco and the old masters, her visual style combines these influences to create work that is feminine and playful.

Having an interest in art therapy, Mosessa aims to create therapeutic imagery through the use of delicate brushstrokes and soft, earthy colours.
