ABOUT THE ARTIST: Lauren Guymer is an emerging Australian artist who creates intricate black and white artworks inspired by the natural world.

With her distinctive monochromatic style and use of detailed mark making and self-taught techniques, Lauren explores the beauty and mystery of nature through drawing and painting. Her ideas are inspired by both the real and imagined, where dream-like places, atmospheric landscapes, and uninhabited sanctuaries emerge from a world of her own. Her process includes observing, traveling, and collecting inspiration from places, resulting in works that respond to the landscape and her experiences.

Currently, Lauren resides on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. She works from her home studio surrounded by inspiring scenery and native flora & fauna.
